Privacy Statement

At Samen ICT, we highly value your privacy. Our motto is “What’s yours is yours and remains yours.” These are your data and your identity, and we aim to protect them wherever possible and use them with the utmost care when necessary. This privacy policy informs you about the privacy terms and guidelines we follow in our company, which apply, among other things, to the processing of personal data by Samen ICT and its partners.

WHO ARE WE? We are Samen ICT, located at Beneluxlaan 59, 2871HE Schoonhoven. We collaborate with several partners both within and outside Schoonhoven. We also have multiple visiting addresses, such as in Woerden and Nieuwegein. As the Samen ICT group, we handle the processing of personal data through this website responsibly and legally. If you have any privacy concerns, you can reach us by email at helpdesk@samenict.nl.

PERSONAL DATA Personal data includes all information about an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, names and contact details of representatives of clients and partners. Information such as IP addresses, how you use our website, and which links you click on can also be considered personal data. The processing of personal data is subject to special legal regulations. When we process personal data of users or customers, we comply with the applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

OBJECTIVES AND ROLES The Samen ICT group processes personal data from different roles and for different purposes. These roles, data controller, and processor, are described in the GDPR. The data controller determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is subject to numerous legal obligations. The processor processes personal data only on behalf of a third party, and certain legal obligations also apply to them, although these differ from those of a data controller. This difference is because, in the latter role, the use of personal data is largely determined by the data controller. The following list explains how we use and process your personal data from the perspective of a data controller. How we do this from the perspective of a processor may vary depending on the service you purchase from us. Details can be obtained through the usual contact channels.

DATA WE COLLECT Samen ICT needs personal data to deliver services and reach (potential) customers. For the use of this personal data, Samen ICT acts as the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR.

We collect and store data that you choose to provide to us voluntarily in the context of delivering services. The basis for processing these data is to be able to perform the contract or deliver services. For further information about the data collected about you and the basis for this, you can send a message to helpdesk@samenict.nl. The following list indicates the data we may collect from you and the basis on which we do this:

  • Contact person, to perform a contract;
  • Phone number, to perform a contract;
  • Email address, to perform a contract;

  • IP address, legitimate interest to improve service.

DATA WE COLLECT USING AUTOMATED MEANS On this website, we use two different types of cookies:

  • Technically necessary cookies;
  • Cookies for marketing purposes.

Technically necessary cookies ensure our website functions correctly, such as logging into a personal account or ordering products. We also collect statistics about website usage with these cookies. By mapping usage, we continuously improve the website, resulting in an increasingly better user experience. We use third-party software for this, which we have set up in a privacy-friendly manner. The statistics and reports generated cannot be traced back to individuals.

Cookies for marketing purposes are used alongside technically necessary cookies. We use marketing cookies from, for example, Google AdWords on our website. Third parties may also place marketing cookies on our site. By combining this information, we can make offers as relevant as possible based on your online surfing, searching, and buying behavior. These marketing cookies also track which ads you have seen.

Marketing cookies also link social media platforms. Social media cookies can be used to remember your preferences and interests. Furthermore, based on your behavior, we can show ads that we think are better suited to you.

Marketing cookies enable us to:

  • Track which ads you have seen;
  • Track how often you have seen an ad;
  • Track whether you click on the ads;
  • Track whether you place orders after seeing an ad or clicking on it;
  • Combine your online surfing, searching, and buying behavior;

Deleting cookie history If you have chosen to refuse cookies for marketing purposes, they will not be placed on your computer. If you wish to re-enable the personalization provided by these cookies, you can delete your browser’s cookie history. This can be done differently for different browsers, and we can help you with this, or you can easily find it online through various search engines or AI.
